Challenge
Right-wing extremist groups tried to force an anti-science agenda into public schools by restricting access to medically accurate information and the skills young people need to protect their health. They sent a referendum to the ballot, forcing Planned Parenthood, ACLU and other supporters of comprehensive sex education to quickly form a yes campaign.
Winning a statewide ballot campaign to implement comprehensive, science-based sexual education in public schools, defeating extremist misinformation and opposition that scapegoated trans youth.
